My Opinion
In 2016, I found there are some individuals in Maldives that their body colour is white, no dark band (or not obvious) on the lower surfaces of the eyestalks. Antenna are not red orange, so they may not juvenile of Coenobita perlatus. Are this individuals related species of Coenobita rugosus? Or new species?
Remark
I found some land hermt crabs images from Sri Lanka, this place is close to Maldives. Are they same species? Or they are Coenobita scaevola?
